According to Vitesse CEO Ashwin Sanghi, "The idea is to provide
marketing muscle to the DC cars. We will focus initially on customisation
of the Zen and the Esteem." While DC Designs has till date
been focusing on single order jobs, the tie-up with Vitesse will
enable them to sell customised cars in volume. Mr Sanghi said that
Vitesse planned to tap its existing customer base of around one
lakh to provide the critical mass for converting existing Maruti
users to switch to the customised variety.

have to be an integral part of the system. I feel that any business
model that attempts to replace the dealer is wrong. Because a car
is a real product. People want to drive it. But how can a high involvement
product like a car be sold on the net?

a particular shape before being shipped into the country. Since
most of the imports would be from Japan, even a minor repair job
