The M. K. Sanghi Group

In the 1960s, the M. K. Sanghi Group established the Motilal Sanghi Charitable Trust. The main objective of this trust is to contribute to society in part as the group progresses. The trust contributes funds to worthy causes in the fields of education, health care and sports. All philanthropic activities of the group are spearheaded by Manju Sanghi, who is the group chairman's wife.

Some of the projects undertaken and financed by the group include the complete renovation and refurbishment of the ground floor lobby of the Breach Candy Hospital of Mumbai, the sponsorship of an entire wing of the Shanti Avedna Centre that looks after terminally ill cancer patients.

The group also sponsors the annual Motilal Sanghi Squash Tournament that has now become one of the longest running inter-club tournaments anywhere in the world.

The group has also undertaken sponsorships of various activities under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Bombay, the Indian Merchants Chamber, and Concern India.


Shanti Avedna, a facility for terminally ill cancer patients, has been partially funded by the Motilal Sanghi Trust.	Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai's premier medical facility, has had its entire ground floor lobby renovated through funds from the trust.


Countless children's education has been funded through the internal scholarship scheme of the group.	Shri MK Sanghi, Chairman, performs Diwali Pooja with all staff members annually at the corporate office.


Shri MK Sanghi along with His Royal Highness Maharaj Gaj Singhji, giving away awards at a Squash function in Jodhpur.	The Motilal Sanghi Inter-Club Squash tournament awards are given away by MK Sanghi, Khalid Ansari and Raj Singh Dungarpur.


Mrs. Manju Sanghi gives away annual awards at the annual day function of the group.	A musical night sponsored by the group to collect funds for Concern India.
